Dear Tim,
If only living in a fish bowl was as romantic as you think. Often times, the fish in the bowl is mindless, staring out at a dry world that it cannot live in, let alone comprehend. The fish relies on it's owner to feed and clean it's tank. Whereas, you are an intelligent human being, with beautiful thoughts and creative ideas, and you can fully take care of yourself. You're tougher than you think. You always seem to fall back into your own abyss that you have created for yourself. [Note: Nothing is impossible; you can climb up out of your abyss if you have the will power.] You may not see it now, but you can work your way up there anytime you like. It doesn't seem like you want to though. When you reach out, you say your finger is like a pinpoint but that, my friend, only means you're not reaching out far enough. And words only fade grey because you let them. If you wanted to and tried hard enough your life could be full of color and beauty, but you keep it out of your fortress along with the lion. You have become the lamb because it is soft, warm; safe., whereas the lion is dangerous and ferocious. Your gates are closed, and you open them for very few occasions.
If only you would open them more; I would love to visit..
