Climbing the Valentinian Food Chain.
It's been an interesting couple of days.
Not too much on the Work side of things, (it's a hard week in the Money department. Sigh)
But still, things are on the Up.
A few people are quitting soon, and while I'm rostered on for 6 days next week, some of them are On Calls.
Quitting people means shuffling of Jobs, and i've been asked if I mind being trained for Buffet.
Buffet isn't too bad. You don't have a section of the restaurant, but you work on the Buffet itself, making sure everything is full, and clean, and tasty-looking. You still seat and greet people, as per Front Of House, but only if you're needed to.
When that happens, I'll still have to do nights on the floor, but I'll also get to do Buffet on other nights instead. Whee.
My first Review is coming up in a few weeks, and while it's my first, I'm not going to get a pay rise, but my next one should have one. Wewt.
Caleb, he of the amusing "Stripper Dance" joke, and King of the Valentines Soap Opera, dropped me off home last night.
I promised him we'd go out for drinks at some point, so there's that to look forward to as well.
