Life Renewing

oday was kind of strange.
Rather like a "Do everything you don't normally do" day.
First up, we had a power outage lasting from about 3pm until 7pm. Not being able to get on the computer, I listened to music on my Ipod, dancing around crazily because storms (and various other elemental extremes) make me hyper. Heh.
Then, once i'd calmed a bit, I did a bit of catching up with my Esoteric Magic book.
While doing this, I wrote in a pen-and-paper diary, did some Meditation, and contemplated my feelings for the World card of the Major Arcana.
Having finished Marc's blanket, there was no easy sewing to do, so I concentrated on aspects of myself for about an hour instead (-another one?-), before going out to do a Display with Rob's rowdy Roman Legion Augusta. lol. It was great. We were doing it for some sort of expo/carnival at a school in Onehunga, and once we got out the wooden swords (all carefully monitored, of course) the kids were great. Even one of the mums got into it, she was awesome, and nearly died when she found out I was 25! XD The balloon guy there gave me a heart on a twirly stick when I suggested he make balloon swords for us all.. I have no clue on the intention of that.. weird. Nora got a "bow and arrow" which was neat when she got shown how it worked! lol.
After I got home, I had a quick steak dinner (yum) and headed for my room. I talked to Chantelle while we were out- it was nice to catch up with her again. Had a little talk with her about Mordavia, and her recommendations for things Character-wise "Oh. I've never played an Elementalist before. Stone Hands is good though." Oops. Oh well, never hurts to ask. Got to put some effort into that costume now, and think about Taupo coming up soon too.
Everything is starting to crowd in, and I can't really commit to anything until Dave gives me my hours! Grr.
