Japan

Well as some of you know, I am back from Japan.

The trip was amazing! I love the place, I spent most of my time wondering around Kyoto with a very beautiful and lovely Tour Guide. She Translated for me too, which was very appreciated.

First impression of the place: Small, or rather everything is so small, later revised to... efficient.

The place seemed to have a sense of culture and age to it that was almost palatable, very much unlike Victoria, Almost no trash anywhere, you just don't litter there. Not as crowded as I first thought, but still a lot more people. Many things to look at, I enjoyed just wondering the streets, or riding a bike. That in itself is another thing, you can ride your bike to anywhere, everything was just so close by. Funny looking cars too.
There is this River that cuts right through the city. It was probably one of my favorite places, very peaceful and relaxing, always had people along it's banks too, day or night. People just having a few beers, and playing some songs. Kyoto is surrounded by mountains, all of which are such a pure green color! No houses on any of them, which was awesome.
It was really hot most of the time, but I didn't mind it as much as I thought I would.
I cannot stress enough how much fun it was, to be in another country with Emily, living with her for a couple weeks like that, I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much without her by my side.
I loved it. It was amazingly awesome in every way.
I cannot wait to go back to that country and be with her again.
