BEST BIRTHDAY EVER
My Christmas was just delightful! Starting with Christmas Eve, I got up and got ready and what not, then we went to Sunnyside after Mom got off of work. We went to Nan's and Pop's for a while. We came back for supper, then church and went up the harbour to Darrell's then Nan's and Pop's. We came back and Chantille and Ryan dropped in! I was pleasently surprised. After they left I got to open up my pyjamas, then we hung our stockings (actually pretended to for the camera, then just layed them by the fireplace on the floor) and went to bed.
I woke up at like 5, but after a while managed to get back to sleep. Cara woke me up around 7:15 and I proceeded to open my birthday gifts and make everyone wait as perusual. I got my digital which I love, a shirt from Cara and a couple shirts from Mom and Dad, and money from aunts and uncles and whatnot. We opened our stockings and then onto the real presents. I got the entire shirt stock of Old Navy, I think. Also, two pairs of jeans, a sweater, a robe, a purse, a coat, a desk chair, season 3 of TPB and their Christmas special, season 2 & 3 of Degrassi, and alarm clock, a calendar, and some other odds and ends. Quite the haul this year :) Then Mom and Dad opened their presents and Nan and Pop came down for a bit, until we all left to go to Darrell's for breakfast. Caroline had gotten her Hilary ticket so I spent the entire visit trying to steal it with her. She showed me some gifts, then we came home to get ready to go to Nan's and Pop's for dinner.
Penney had called me though and wanted me to come up and get my gift, so me, Cara and Dad went up. I got my picture taken with her mom (it was her birthday too) and then we exchanged gifts. She said her cookies were the best gift she'd gotten! I opened my Chrismtas gift and I got a bag from Old Navy, a Hilary Duff CD and a picture frame from Old Navy. Then I opened my birthday gift and found a HILARY DUFF TICKET INSIDE! I freaked out and cried and my Dad caught it all on video! She cried too and we got all excited. Apparently her mom had been checking on our parents' Willie Nelson tickets and saw that Hilary didn't say sold out anymore because they had let out two tickets. So her and Cara went in on a ticket for me! OMG! I'm still not believing it!
Anyway, me and Cara went up the harbour early and Trev and Cynthia were out and gave us more presents. I got some sewing stuff for my birthday and this really cute little purse for Christmas. I played with their dogs for a while, then we had lunch and sat around for a while. After we came home I took a nap for about an hour then went to Sunnyside for supper. I hung out with my cousin Ashley for a bit and she beat me up as usual before supper. After supper I went to visit my aunt uncle and cousins for a few minutes, then came back to Nan's for a bit and watched Pop open his presents. We came home again and had some visitors. Brian called me and Ryan, Justin and Penney came by. Then I was on the computer talking to Amy for a while.
Yesterday I was around the house all day. Dave and Heather came by and stayed for supper. Caroline came down too. I spent most of the night reading one of Cara's books and I was on the computer. Went to sleep around 4.
I woke up this morning to a picture falling off the wall. I tried to get back to sleep but couldn't so I read for a while and Judy called. I got some lunch then finished the book. Steve and Stephanie came by for a bit. I started another one of Cara's books, then watched some TV and took a shower. A bunch of people were here for supper, BBQ. It was pretty delicious. I talked to Brian for a while, then our TV exploded shortly after everyone left. That sucks big time. So I ended up reading for the rest of the night and I almost have the book done.
So, it's been decided that I'm going to Harbour Grace/Carbonear for New Year's. Brian and Adam are supposed to come and get me. That pleases me to no end because I'm missing those two boys like crazy. And I'll get to see Amy because she said she'd go to the party too! New Year's with that girl would be crazy fun! God, I hope the weather is good so I can go. Everyone pray for me, okay?
Tomorrow is the Christmas counsellor party in town, and of course, I'm not going. No way in or out. I live so far out of the way for stuff like that. I'm sure no one will notice I'm not there, except Amy if she goes. I feel so out of the camp loop.
