Friends, Romans, Countrymen...

Well to begin with I'm 20. I've been on this wretched planet for two whole decades. I'm loving life. Every day is yet another gift, and I'm happy to be alive.

I've lost count of how many times I've "resolved" to grow my hair long, but I think I'm actually going to follow through this time.

School has become a lot harder. Thats all there is to say about that.

I finally hard-wired my Ipod into my truck's stereo. Eff you people who think Ipod's are pointless, I love mine, best thing that ever happend to me.

I'm really into this girl. We arent going to date, but I'm serious about her, and she is about me. We have this connection, and we dont want to mess it up. So we're going to stay friends for a long while until we're ready to date. I think the term is courting? Haha, someone told me they were courting once, but this is real courting.

hmmm

I also went to this Narnia read-a-thon this weekend where we read all the narnia books straight through, with 4 hours for sleep, and 20 min. for meals. It was good, I never knew "hardcore" could describe reading.

Music is love, my friend. I hate shallow worship bands. Intellectually, musically, and spiritually shallow. I hate to say this, but the only good worship music is the old fashioned hymn, not this new age rock concert crap thats meant to show of the talent (or manytimes the lack thereof, I mean lets face it, most people who are in worship bands suck so bad on their instrument, they cant really perform anywhere else) of the "worship leaders". I'm not trying to sound arrogant here, I actually have a few very good reasons to back this up.

*sigh* Its the truth, I've decided that denominations are important. No thank you, I would not like to be in a cult. Those pentacostal mother effers are weird. But I love them just the same.

So I guess I would call my self a southern baptist.

Show tonight went great, and they FED US PIZZA and mastacolli.

I've decided to go back to wood reads. I'll still practice on the plastic ones, but I really do adore the warm sound of wood.

I want a tat, but I just dont see the point. I mean, lets face it, right now I want one, but will I want it later? I believe the majority of people that get them are impulsive idiots who never think and always end up regretting it later. So I'm not going to go down that road.

Twenty years old...shit, I'm still alive.
