[Aw man, why do you have to try to spoil his texting fun? He knows you don't like it, which makes it that much more entertaining to use. Ace doesn't answer right away, just lets it ring as punishment for not replying to his message like a cool roommate would have.]

Okay so, it's later. And Marco's opening the apartment door. What's he see, Ace?]

[Marco is likely to notice the strong smell first. If he's familiar with it, he shouldn't have a problem placing it as paint. Soon as the door opens, the light reflecting out from the entry room will have a distinctive color tinted to it, and Marco's going to be greeted by orange walls. You know that color worn by hunters so they can be seen for miles? Blaze orange? THIS COLOR RIGHT HERE? That's now covering the walls AND the ceilings. In every room, if Marco cares to check. The floors are thankfully spotless, but there's some crumpled up newspapers with dried paint splotches littering every room.

Ace is innocently resting on the couch, stretched out, and looks over when the door opens.]
