Anyway I am sitting next to elanesse, who is Sophie for anyone that doesn't know. We've got a free now, after I had spent the morning at Alliance Francaise (see the above blurb), which would be the reason why I'm not going to Islamic Studies right now. Haha, bite me. Anywayyyy, lots to tell and a short time to tell it in!
I don't know if I mentioned, but I had to organize a 20s style costume for a monologue for drama. WELL! Charity shops ahoy, I found a dress (pretty cute actually) that's black and lacy, I'm just adjusting the sleeves to make them capped, and taking out the hideous shoulder pads. But it can be worked with. I'm going to go buy some strands of pearls to jazz it up for both that performance, and for outside wear. It would look so good over some ripped jeans... But I'm blabbing, so I'll be quiet now.
I still have to find a costume for my mental assylum monologue... I'm not sure if I want to use symbollism in that one.. But I actually think it might be quite fun to act in a straight jacket.. I want a cup with some coloured pills in it to fiddle around with. Hehehe, oh Drama, how I love thee...
The song writing is not getting any easier. I sat down for an hour yesterday to do it, and nothing was sounding right, and I was playing with the same ideas over and over again and rearranging them and messing about... *long sigh* All my efforts in vain.
Anyway, I'd better go, my love to all! *sigh* Rehersals tonight. Bleh. I love it really...
