Oh right, that writing thing.
I've got like 5 journal entries on various things that I started, saved, and never finished. Mostly they're pretty rant-y. One had quite a lot of gifs. Might still finish that one, for amusement value.
I've been going through my old projects, trying to find the ones that most trip off my "Ooooh, I want to play with that!" reaction. I am very, very sure that my writing is not as good as it was. I'm miserably out of practice at this point, and while writing may be like riding a bicycle, it does take some practice to get your balance and rhythm back when you haven't done it for a while.
Anyway, I'm really just here to say I found this sentence in an unfinished piece of Repo fanfic (probably forever unfinished, although maybe part of it will get posted as a oneshot while the rest gets trashed), and it makes me happy, in a ridiculous sort of way, both because it exists, and because I got to write it:
Being able to buy a hot meal is worth the nuisance of getting a reputation as a necrophiliac.
Does it make slightly more sense in context? Yes. Is it a delightfully bizarre and awful sentence regardless of context? Also yes.
