Making some changes to the blog
I'm going to be making some changes on this blog over the next day or two.
Basically, I'm changing the name. Instead of "The Chiastic Sarcast," it will be "The Burning Bible." The current name is too difficult to remember and confusing to tell people, especially by word of mouth (using words that don't exist can do that). I've been wanting to change it since the Spring, but deferred for my Bolivia trip.
I chose "The Burning Bible" because the main mission of this blog is to explore the power of the Holy Spirit in the Word of God. The Bible is not only words, but power (cf 1 Corinthians 4:20). The Word delivers what it promises! Out of the promises of the Word of God comes salvation, the Church, the Sacraments, the Ministry, healings, prophecy, miracles, and every other supernatural gift God gives to His Church. My desire is to explore and expound on that Word in this blog, treating it as the power of God rather than a simple text.
This name change will be accompanied by visual changes on the website theme.
For a while, any links to a "http://chiasticsarcast.livejournal.com/" page will link to the blog. But be sure to update your links once the name changes.
