FIRST QUADANNUAL GET AWARDS!
So I'm going to ripoff superbus and make a GET awards things so here we go, the games I have purchased in the past 30 days (with 5 of them being purchased a few hours ago)
PC
Borderlands: This is quite fun actually. Think of Diablo 2 mixed with Fallout 3 and Call of Duty with a dash of Mad Max and you've got this game basically. It's made by Gearbox, the guys behind one of my favorite series (Brothers in Arms) and they ported Halo to the PC so they know how to make a good shooter.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 aka Winning Eleven 2010: The series is back in form. It hasn't reached the ultimate perfection of the PS2 versions quite yet but the new master league is pretty awesome.
Nintendo Wii
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare : Reflex: "Wait!" You say. "Don't you already have this game on Xbox360 two years ago?". Yes that is true, I played this game ages ago on 360 but I wanted to see how it controls and how well the graphics hold up on Wii. Plus, I don't have Xbox Live so I can play some multiplayer on Nintendo Wifi instead.

Colin Mcrae: Dirt 2: I'm not a huge fan of Rally games, I enjoyed the orignal Colin Mcrae rally on PSX and some rounds of Sega Rally at the arcades but when I tried Dirt 2 I NEEDED to have it. It's just plain unadlerted fun. The best part? When creating a profile there is an option to choose being a Saudi and when I entered my name as "Mohamed" the game automatically suggested the nickname "Mo" to be spoken by the ingame characters. Sweet.
Tekken 6: I haven't played Tekken seriously since Tekken 3 and dabbled a bit in Tekken 5 but now I'm looking to get back in the game and suplex some fools with King
FIFA 10: Bought it to compare with PES2010. It's a good game of footy but hardly anything's changed from FIFA09 other than 360 dribbling.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: Let's just say I "acquired" this game through dubious means and leave it at that. And I must say...It's quite poor all the way around even in single player. And don't say "You just don't know how to play Call of Duty!" I've played Call of Duty 1,2,3,4 and World at War. I know what the fuck I'm talking about.
Well that brings us to the end of this edition of Mohamed's "GET!" awards. :P
