Finally surfed for the first time since... September? Caught 3 or 4 glassy beauties this morning.

We call it "the soup." Seems like every time I caught a decent wave that day the person with the camera was distracted elsewhere. :/

Was it cold? I haven't surfed in CA since September last year. It is so much nicer surfing in O'ahu; I am spoiled!

Hmmmm! That actually isn't too bad. I wish our water weren't so cold around here in Santa Barbara. It turns my hair white every time I go out in cold water!

That wasn't to elicit sympathy, btw, in case you thought it was. I get plenty of that.

I like to think about what I can do once I've been through all this.

Surfing is something I love & haven't done in so long.
