What are you living for?

What is everyone living for? What the hell wakes you up everyday, why do I get out of bed? There are many motivations for one's actions.  A lot of the wrong ones, that most people live for are:

1. Guilt- people let their past drive their future.

2. Resentment and Anger- Many people live their lives trying to prove someone wrong or get back at someone who hurt them.  All that does is hurt yourself.

3. Fear- Fears may be a result of a traumatic experience, unrealistic expectation, or growing up in a high-control home.  Fear driven people miss many great opportunites and opt to "play it safe" and do what's expected of them.

4. Materialism- America...need i say much else. "Love your cars, they make you happy." "Your next purchase will make you so much happier than the last one." Well what happens when the newness wears off? You need bigger and better things, and materialistic people are NEVER satisfied.

5. Need for Approval- Bill Cosby said "I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone." He was right in the fact that so many people demand so much of you, its not possible to please them all. Other's satisfaction of you will not bring personal fulfillment.

People choose to live this way because they have no idea of what their purpose is. When you don't have a purpose, your life is basically meaningless, and the trivial activities you participate in are simply to pass the time in between unconscience nights. It's easy to get caught up in knowing deep down that you have no purpose, so the usual response is to do everything you can, spread yourself too thin, and basically accomplish nothing, just running around in circles until you're tired and mistake it as accomplished.  WAKE UP! You're not on this earth by chance. There is no way this earth came into existance on it's own happening, there is no way that you can wake up, see this world clearly, have the ability to type and read just because things HAPPENED out of nowhere. You have a purpose in this world and it's your task to find, accept, and accomplish that. Otherwise, your life is meaningless and you might as well kill yourself now and save the food and money that goes toward your selfish clot of ailment of grievances and complaints on how the world won't revolve to make you happy. GIVE ME A BREAK, people on this earth have a purpose and if you don't have one, why are you here?

"You gotta see, you gotta try, who's gonna change the world when I die?"
