1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?
Said "I love you" to the person I was in love with.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I'm not sure I really made any last year. But I've got some "things to shoot for" for this year!

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope!

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Coco and Foxy. You are missed, girls.

5. What countries did you visit?
England!!! Definitely one of the high points of the year, the decade, my life!!!

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
Six-pack abs. Just kidding. Self confidence.

7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
February 15, May 5-12, July 17, November 27-29, December 3-5. First kiss, London trip, worst day of the year, a beautiful weekend, another beautiful weekend that included the show run of my junior project!

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Playing Witwoud in The Way of the World.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Most of the rest of the month of December.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had the death flu that was going around in January, but aside from that, I've been pretty healthy. Thank God!

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My iPhone 3GS. So worth upgrading!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Not mine, that's for sure.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Mostly me. And a little of someone else.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills and food.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
London!!!

16. What song will always remind you of 2009?
I dunno. Probably the original cast recording of Titanic.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: (a) happier or sadder? (b) thinner or fatter? (c) richer or poorer?
(a) I would say sadder, but we're choosing not to start the year off that way!
(b) Definitely thinner.
(c) Poorer by far.

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Appreciating the good times and not dwelling on the not so good.

19. What do you wish you’d done less of?
Wasting time!

20. How did you spend Christmas?
Mostly home with the parents, except for going to see Carmen and, later, Gerardo.

21. Did you fall in love in 2009?
Yes, I did.

22. What was your favorite TV program?
Gossip Girl or True Blood. Oh, and Glee!

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
Hate is a strong word, but I definitely really really don't like a few people.

24. What was the best book you read?
I've mostly read plays, actually. I didn't do a lot of reading for pleasure this year, sadly.

25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Into the Woods.

26. What did you want and get?
Beatles Rockband!

27. What did you want and not get?
Him, at least the way I want him.

28. What was your favourite film of this year?
Probably Up.

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Yikes, I turned 28 and I had dinner with my parents at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza before going to a party that my friends threw for me. I did not sleep that night; it was a really nice birthday.

30. What one thing made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Growing as an actor. Despite everything else that happened, I have made tremendous strides and I'm proud of that.

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009?
Work in progress. I have definitely upgraded my style, but I'm still evolving.

32. What kept you sane?
There wasn't a whole lot of that when the cart came off the tracks, but Maureen was my rock throughout it. I couldn't have gotten through any of this without her. And my work; I am more passionate than ever.

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Eh, nobody really.

34. What political issue stirred you the most?
Health care reform.

35. Who did you miss?
Different people at different times. No one person stands out.

36. Who was the best new person you met?
I don't think I really met anyone NEW...

37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009.
Appreciate every good moment to the fullest. Don't nitpick and obsess over stupid shit, because you never know when it might be taken away from you.
