well so, maybe i'm not doing the right thing by leaving this school. basically i just got a rather nasty email from one of my old teachers that said that he wouldn't be writing a recommendation for me because (what did you expect from an art school!) and (you would get the same thing at any 4 year university's art program). so i'm kind of angry. I think Bob probably just cares about your future a lot and sees hella potential because of your abilities and is only trying to make sure you are positive of how you feel about your decisions? something like that.

but clearly you are very ready to find something else and move on from where you are. if the environment you're in isn't right and it's affecting you in unhealthy ways, there's no changing that. except that you've got to get out of that unfortunate situation and find a more suitable one. especially since you're paying a pretty penny for the whole shabang...

basically, just take it one day at a time and I know you'll figure something out that works best. don't get too +++overwhelmed. I know you already are.

I too am contemplating taking a semester off to figure shit out and get more $$$, but who knows. it makes me feel lazy to even THINK about not going to school for once. ahhh. scary. :/
