Another day in October
Well, my life is going pretty smoothly. I'm staying busy enough to where I don't have the time to get into trouble. But, I have enough free time to enjoy some leisure time with my friends.
Speaking of leisure time...so my roomies (old and new) and I have roomy nights every tuesday at 10:30. We usually just watch a movie at our place. So, last night while watching 40 Days and 40 Nights, which I swear is a soft core porn, the door bell rings. It 12:05 am at this point. I answer it and it is a community manager (RA). I get my room mate Kaitlyn cause the problem has something to do with her car. Kaitlyn goes outside with the RA and us nosy room mates stare from the balcony. About ten minutes later Kaitlyn is accompanied with two RA on duty, one commmunity director, two police cars, three fire fighters, and eight by-standers. Apparently her car had a gas leak...only to find out it wasn't her car it was my other room mate Veronica's car. But, Veronica had just filled up her gas tank too much and it was spilling over. Needless to say, a lot of comotion for nothing. It still made for an exciting roomy night though!
Like I stated before, I started substitute teaching. Let me tell you, I love it. I know more than ever that I want to be a teacher. Also, I started my feild work the other day, which is going into a school and doing lesson plans that myself and four other girls created. It was a lot of fun and very rewarding to present something that we created, and to get compliments from our supervisor and teacher. So, I am just very happy to be so excited about what I am going ot be doing with the rest of my life.
