Busy Days To Tell About
Right now I'm working...after subbing...I'm tired
Ok...so today was my first day being a substitute teacher. I was at Central Elementary subbing for Mrs. Montague. Funny thing was it was my sixth grade classroom with Mrs. Hare. So that was weird being in that class room teaching instead of being the student. The kids were great! They finished all of their work and listened to me for the most part. I had to constantly as for them to quiet down...but they never got out of control. To take up some time and just have some fun with the kids I played the game "Two truths and a lie." A little black boy, named arjuan, in the class raised his hand to go. So I told him to tell us his two truths and a lie.
This was what he said,
"I got lotsa brotha's and sista's"
"I stole a watch from my grandaddy"
or "I stole my bike"
Well, it is good to know that he doesn't have lotsa little brothas and sistahs going around stealing bikes and their grand daddy's jewelry. Yeah...made me laugh and think of Dana and her stories she told! I was excited to tell a story on livejournal.
On other news...classes are going good. I'm staying very busy but it is fun.
Zack and I are disgustingly in love.
My room mates and I are all getting along great! We'll see how long that lasts...I mean we're girls.
