Week 39 - Dr. visit
This week was MUCH better than last. The Dr. agrees to avoiding any internal exams until necessary. Everything looks good and normal. I gained another 1 1/2 lbs. I've been hungrier in the last week than the whole pregnancy and apparently it's for a reason. When we listened to the heartbeat baby also had hiccups and it sounded pretty neat to hear that. The Dr. asked if I felt I'd be early or late, and I'm leaning towards late. I'm just not feeling any closer to giving birth than I have in the rest of the pregnancy.
I made the simplest pepper steak last night and it tasted like the best meal ever - I chalk that up to my endless hunger.
Marc turned on the heater this morning for the first time - it was 64 degrees when he got up. The cold nights have been making for really good sleep. We had a bit of a storm yesterday and the yard is filled with sticks to gather and burn. I'm hoping to get to that this weekend. The weather has me craving squash & sweet potatoes.
