So this just gets weirder and weirder...
Today my dad finally got the chance to really look at Spot, and try and figure out what killed him. When he got home last night it was too dark to really look and see. So anyway, expecting to see a giant hole in his side, or his fur drenched in blood, he found nothing. Not one single scratch. Still, there is blood EVERYWHERE in the front yard, on the posts to the entrance, the steps, the driveway... everywhere. What the fuck happened? My mom's first thought was that he'd been poisoned, but that wouldn't explain the blood everywhere.
At least he didn't die the gruesome death I kept picturing in my head. Still, though, it's extremely weird. If you have any idea/thoughts/proposals as to what may have happened that day then by all means tell me, because I am completely out of ideas.
