Attempted salvation of pride
At the price of an ignored truth
A truth so deep and regretful
It will shatter your reality
A reality paved with Distortion
Fill in the pot holes with lies

The words are fleeing as time goes by
Forgetting the thousands of souls it has killed
And hundreds of loves it has buried
But this thing, time, can feel no remorse
It is the lucky one lacking the things
that make humans mortal. Emotions.

To lack these would truly be freedom
Knowing not of pride, guilt, and sorrow
One could be free from ones worries
Truth though, that which is deep and regretful
pesters one into a loathsome state
Leaving only malice on the mind.

This detest leads to the relization
That reality is a farce
Little more then a repugnant fabrication
Of all we have be told and taught.
In the end, Pride does not matter.
In the end, There is no truth.
