No one is going to convince me otherwise, Peace Corps Ghana is a complete cakewalk compared to Burkina. There is a reason why the one woman I spoke with only knew of two people quitting service early, one of whom had a nervous breakdown. Ghana is in a word, awesome ( Read more... )

Hi, I'm glad I found you blog...I've been trying to get a sence of what my life in Burkina will be like. I'll be in the Girl Education Empowerment program and I should arrive June 7th. Any information you could pass my way would be greatly appreciated, perticularly on items and clothing to pack and what is considered "proffessional dress" in Burkina.
