Current Situation *With much glee*
After almost an entire year of going without any form of gainful employment...
I now have a full-time job.
I have been hired by Leaseplan USA, the company my dad works for. I have been hired as a Customer Service Representative. I will be making $30,000 a year, which is rather impressive considering my previous pay rate.
I can't believe it, I finally got an office job. I didn't even ask for my dad's help to get this job, it appeared on Careerbuilder.com and I worked from there. I had two interviews, and managed to finally score the position today! I start work on the 28th, so that pretty much gives me one week to get work ready.
I will be doing information processing and customer service work. My hours will be Monday to Friday from 8 to 5. Pretty much, my dad gets to follow me to work. (He starts at 8:30)
It shows that with work, perseverance, and determination, one can achieve that which they want. Whether I stay with this company or not for long, this will give me experience I need to help progress to the career I eventually will desire to strive for. Know that all of you out there that think that your progress and determination don't matter, it DOES matter, and it WILL bring results! Do not lose hope, go for it!
