Who are our Elders? Who are the women in your life who have taught you? Guided you? Blessed you? Would you like an easy and deeply meaningful way to honor those women? Please join me in supporting a teacher and Spiritual Sister of mine Ann Sousa as she embarks on a journey of initiation as Elder. Ann is an incredible woman, a gifted healer and an all around good Jane. She has been invited to be initiated as an elder in the Dagara tradition by her teacher Malidoma Some - a great honor indeed. Part of the initiation process is to gather community support in the form of money. Yes, I know it sounds like one of those bad emails but I finally see the meaning behind this: it is the community saying "Yes! We need a healer! Yes! We need an Elder! Yes! Yes! YES!
