I don't think you've thought this through quite enough. It'd be naive to assume that just because you're taking responsibility you're saving the rest of us from punishment...But that doesn't matter, I guess, because if you're asking me as Captain to lie for you, to let an innocent person be put to death, and to claim that I knew someone was guilty for wholesale slaughter of an entire town and that I covered for them even if the punishment for doing so was death...then the answer is no.

I'm still a samurai before anything else, Captain. This is a matter of honor, and I'm carrying around enough sins. I'm not adding this to the list of things I need to make up for.
