Like Doritos It's Not Yo Cheese
1) I move tomorrow - I'm pretty stoked about it. Unfortunately, I haven't begun packing yet for several reasons - which means tomorrow and Friday are going to be pretty crazy... crazy but worth it.
2) The cruise that I won while at the Big E is booked for March during Erin's Spring Break - a few weeks after we come back from that, we're leaving again for vacation to some island... I forget where.
3) I went to see Chiodos, Motion City Soundtrack, Hit the Lights, and Person L at Toad's Place on Sunday. As expected, Chiodos was ridiculously good, Motion City also played a pretty sweet set, and I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the performance given by Hit the Lights.
4) Speaking of shows... I plan on seeing Jack's Mannequin at Toad's on November 16. If you haven't heard it yet, check out the new album, "The Glass Passenger." I believe it came out yesterday... I heard several of the tracks that had been released early, and loved all of them.
5) Mrs. Robinson is so in right now.
6) I was out at dinner with Andy, Wayne, Skippy, and Jaime last night when a guy came up to me and said that I looked really familiar. After about two minutes of "where'd you go to school?" and "where do you work?", the guy apologized for interrupting our dinner and proceeded to excuse himself. Before he could escape, Jaime said "You should ask her for her number" and as my face flushed red, he continued with "She's a good catch" and so on and so forth. Then, Andy then took out his phone and read off my number to the guy, as I sat in horror, completely helpless.
7) I learned a new game called Dodge Beer. It's pretty f'ing sweet - though if people are drunk enough, it could turn into a full contact sport, which probably wouldn't be safe...
