Also, your most recognized coach, Roy Williams, left the program and won a title. AAAAAAAAAAand your athletic department is run by the former UConn Athletic Director (Big Lew Perkins). So again, it all comes back to UConn
Big Lew Perkins was a piece of crap who threatened to run onto the ice and eat my dp dough. He also wanted to have students watch games from trees.... oh wait, maybe that was Dylan Walter pretending to be Mr. Perkins.
a program that's been in the dumps?!?!? Kansas is third in the NCAA for all-time winningest team - i believe uconn is ranked somewhere in the 30's ....
Yea, but they are a program that hasn't one a championship since 1988. Before that? 1952. Meanwhile UConn has won two titles in the last 8 years. If you don't win it all, it doesn't matter. Look at the Yankees they are one of the winningiest teams of all-time as well, but they haven't won since 2000. They are considered failures for this. You can talk all-time stats all day, but what really matters is RECENT history not ANCIENT history. We were 5 years old when Kansas last won. We were 21 when UConn last won. They have the same amount of championships, but UConn's doing them in this decade..the tides are turning.
