Standing On The Edge Of Summer
So I was conned into going on a double date on Friday night with Nikki, Dave, and Steve. I didn't want to go because I had yet to confront Steve about him asking Michelle for a date. However, Nikki suckered me into it and the four of us went to see Kingdom of Heaven - great movie. Anyway, after the film, we returned to campus where I was in total shock to walk in to an apartment full of friends throwing me a surprise Graduation Party (Hawaiian themed).
Apparently, Ame and Nikki, with the help of several others, were sly enough to do all sorts of planning and decorating behind my back. They sent out party invitations through Facebook, to the entire school, and I was totally oblivious to it, and then went all out on the decorations, with sea shells that people signed/left messages on, a pineapple hanging from the ceiling, leis, and streamers galore.
So anyway, the party was by far the best we've had here - I've got pictures up through the link in my AIM profile. It was one night I will not soon forget with memories of - Taris dancing with the girls, the Emily/Rich hookup, Chris' coconut bra, drinking until 6am, and my "good morning" kiss. Thanks to everyone who was here - Taris, Stacey, Brian, Joey, Rich, Dennis, Amy M., Russ, Brett, Michelle, Katie, Taylor, Emily, Ashley, Amy, Lainey, Jenkins, Jared, Shannon, Mandy, Alicia, Vinnie, Chris, Sara, Jim, Bill, Tony H., Juice, Brielle, Jesse, Maiyan, Kyle, Kurt, Jon, Batman, J-rod, Steve, Ryan, Dave, Pete, Val, Arkun, Mike, Keith, Bill(y), Kelly, Dana, Kristin, TJ, etc.
I do have to add though, that I did call Steve out that night. After he was done wowing people with his card tricks, he had to leave to pick up a friend, so he went to kiss me goodbye and I pushed him into the wall. I told him he had some explaining to do and then he went into this excuse as to how he didn't think I was interested in him. We never reached a conclusion as to what we were going to do about our relationship, however, he did ask if he could take me on a date on Monday. I still like him, I just think what he did was incredibly skeevy.
Anyway, last night I went to a party in Newport with Ame, Amy, and Lainey. The house we went to was GORGEOUS - and so were the guys that were there (hehe). I got pretty drunk and came back to campus and well, if you read my LJ than you probably saw the entry that I wrote.
About that entry ... I'd like to clarify that I was indeed very intoxicated and although those words were the truth, they mean nothing. Nothing because he doesn't care and at this point in time, I can't say that I do either.
