An interesting weekend if anything. Friday night Ame, Lainey, Theresa, and myself hit up the mall. I bought a new pair of sandals and fabric to make my toga for Steve's frat party on Saturday. After returning from the mall we had a gathering of sorts at our apartment - played some Drunk Driver and some Beirut, and then Ame and I tried unsuccessfully to stalk Mike. To clarify, Mike is the hockey ref that we've been obsessing over for the last few weeks ... anyway, he and his roommates threw a "Mustaches and Nice Asses" party on Friday night and I knew some people that were going, so after getting a few drinks in us and the courage to head out there, we stopped by his apartment, but it was too late because the RA's had already broken up the party.
Saturday afternoon, when I returned from work, I found Tony H., Pete, Arkun, Tone, and Liam setting up their instruments outside my apartment for a jam session in the sun ... next thing I know, there are 30 plus people in the quad drinking and playing wiffle ball while watching the boys jam out. Anyway, after making the hottest toga ever - a halter top with no back and a high slit skirt - Steve came to pick up Michelle, Ame, and I. We went over to KP to pregame with a bunch of people and then headed to the actual party at Jackie's Galaxy. Aside from Michelle's toga falling off a record 3 times, once in front of an elderly gentleman who grinned from ear to ear at the sight, everyone looked fabulous.
As I'm rushing to finish this cause Steve's on his way over to take me out to dinner, I just wanted to add that my parents bought me a new car!!!! See, my dad had told me that he was going to sign over the Mazda, which I've been driving for the past 4 years, when I graduated. However, he called me yesterday to let me know that they had bought me a 2003 Elentra for my graduation present --- wicked sweet =)
