Will I Stay, Will I Go, Will I Be Here Tomorrow
So I need to update on a few things ... last Friday, the Singles Party, my Valentines date, tomorrow night, and this upcoming weekend. Here goes nothing ...
Last Friday, the girls were supposed to get together and play 40 Hands, however, plans got a little mixed up and Nikki, Keith, and myself ended up playing Power Hour. About 15 minutes prior to the hour being over, Tony H., Pete, Gary, Andrea, and Dave stumbled up the stairs to chill. After we finished our game, we set up a Beirut table and slowly people started to stream through the apartment - Michelle, Jenkins, Steve <3, Ryan, Juice, etc. The most interesting story of the night was the one in which I was woken up at 4am by Dave who was attempting to climb into my bed ... apparently, in a drunken stupor, he walked into the wrong room, into the wrong bed, and to the wrong girl - I almost pissed my pants laughing. Aside from that, it turned out to be a pretty quite night, which was nice for once =)
Saturday night we hosted the now infamous Singles Party. Everyone looked absolutely incredible and we were able to hook a few people up ... if only for a night. By far, the best part of the evening was when a few of my boys from home - Taris, Dennis, Joey, and Rich - showed up!!!! Although they weren't dressed the part, they mingled and made friends and seemed to have had a blast. Unfortunately Tony never came through because he was stuck at home, but Steve was here and he managed to make quite the impression on Taris and the rest of the guys <3. As the party winded down, there were a number of us chillin in the living room shootin the shit til 6am. We had a large amount of people spend the night - Steve, Jarod, Brett, Jim, Keith, and one of Nikki's "friends." As for sleeping arrangements ... for some insane reason, Jim, Brett, and I decided to have a "slumber party" on the floor of my bedroom - I was wicked sore the next afternoon, but everything was well worth it.
As for Valentines Day, Steve had called on Sunday to ask if he could take me to dinner and a movie. I had a night class on Monday, so he said he'd pick me up afterward and we'd make it a late night. We had dinner at TGIF's because we couldn't find the Olive Garden - fine by me cause I heart Friday's - and we saw the movie Hitch. Technically speaking, that was only my second date EVER - the first being with Matty a few years back. I was extremely nervous but had such an awesome time - the conversation never stopped, not even a moment of awkward silence, and he was a complete gentleman, opened every door (even the car door), paid for everything ... it was amazing <3. We've planned a second date for next week, and also made plans to hang out during the rest of this week. I'm totally stoked ...
For tomorrow night, Tony and I made plans to go to dinner and hang out before going to ES. Now I know I was just gushing about Steve, but I do like Tony and have never had the chance to hang out with him alone before ... I'm just being curious - no harm, no foul.
As for the weekend - it's a long weekend, which means most people will be heading home, but alas we are still throwing a little shin-dig here on Friday night. Saturday we'll be heading out to Jenkins' home on Martha's Vineyard for his 21st B-day celebration with Keith and possibly Tony =)
Anyway, like I mentioned in a previous entry, I have a website with pictures forthcoming and I promise the address as soon as I get it ... but I think that's about it for my updating. Later dayz y'all
