This Side You've Never Seen
So the last few days have been a bit crazy. Thursday night I went to ES with Kasey to see Tony and Kevin and the rest of those crazy kids perform. I stayed for about half an hour before Tracy and Amy picked me up - from there we booked to Baypoint to get Ame and then headed for Providence. We were supposed to go to Babylon, but got lost on the way and decided to go to Diesel instead. The club was pretty packed, with tons of nice looking guys, and absolutely NO one from RWU - which was excellent. When I got back to the apartment, I talked to Mike for a bit and then crashed cause it had been a long week.
Friday I went out to Swansea and then Taunton with Lisa. We did some shopping, grabbed some dinner, and headed back here to get dressed up for a night on the town. Becca came early to get ready with us and the boys arrived around 10 o'clock - the boys being Frank (Lisa's boyfriend) and his friend James. After introductions were made, James offered to drive (yea - his car is wicked sweet), and so we were off. We went to Gillary's and watched the band play downstairs for a little before I suggested we go upstairs to play some pool. I needed a partner so James took me up on the offer and unfortunately we lost - twice. Afterward, he offered to buy me a drink and we sat down in a corner to talk. When the bar closed we went to Classics, got a pizza and brought it back to the apartment, where we proceeded to play card games. Within the next hour, Becca left and Lisa and Frank slid away into the bedroom leaving just James and I.
Now, James is amazingly gorgeous, sweet, funny, and intelligent - BUT according to Frank, he has a reputation. If there was any truth to what Frank said - it was not evident at all on Friday. Our conversation was incredible - possibly the nicest, most intelligent conversation I've had with anyone in months. We talked about everything in our lives - past, present, and future. We told crazy stories about our families and joked around about our friends. Around 3am, Lisa came out of the room to say that she and Frank were going to bed, but neither James or I were tired, so we decided to stay up alone. He suggested we watch a movie, so we put in South Park and curled up on the couch --- it was so nice that I could've fallen asleep there. He played with my hair and kept calling me shorty, and I felt so comfortable and so happy --- I never thought it would've felt that good to be in someone's arms again. The end of the night was perfect and I couldn't have asked for anything to be better. Friday was by far the best night I've had at school this semester and in general, the best night I've had in a long while ...
Last night, Saturday, was supposed to have been our "Winter Wonderland" party, but it turned out to be an "Everyone Gets Laid" party. So many random people hooked up that it was outrageous ...
We chilled around the apartment for most of yesterday afternoon - the guys came over and attacked us with their nerf guns - and a good part of the night. Around 11 o'clock people started pouring into our place. Nikki, Ame, Amy, Tracy, Frank, Scotty, Ferguson, Joe E., Foley, Eric, Nate, Jared, TJ, Taylor, Katie, Sebastian, Tony, Martin, Jay, and some random guys I didn't know were all in attendance. We had the Beirut table set up, as well as the Quarters table. When Eric showed up he brought with him well over 100 jello-shots, so those people who were already intoxicated became even more impaired. The people playing Quarters switched to playing Kings and in doing so made a rule that before you drew a card, you had to kiss someone, so people were making out left and right --- it was nuts. A few people who came alone ended up leaving with someone --- it kind of felt like we were hosting Love Connection. All in all it was an interesting and entertaining night --- one that I'm sure certain people won't soon forget.
As for now, I'm just bumming around --- I've been talking to Shawn almost all day and am totally stoked to hang out with him when I go home !!!! Anyway, the Duke game is on and I've got nothing more to say, so I'm out. Later dayz
