Allright, so I finally went on my first double. I planned it out and everything. I decided that we should go to the beach. And walk around, and just look at stuff. So the weather was going to be rainy all day it seemed. And like, it was super cloudy and rainy during the basketball game we played. Which we won by like 30 points. Anyways. It was kinda humid and rainy, and no wind really at all. So I go with aaron and do some things and then head back home and wait for the time to go.
I prayed in my bedroom, that things will go well, we will be safe. And that I would have the confidence in myself and be protected, along with my friends. and just so humbly I ask that the weather be alright at least for a little bit and that we can enjoy ourselves.
It seemed as though things were really cloudy and really close to burst with rain any second. But just as I sit in my garage and play guitar, the wind is just CRASHING so hard against the door and unlocks it, and the power flickers out just a short bit. And just everything is just getting crazy. I look outside and I would have expected a storm, but it was cloudy and just windy. no rain. and so I go back in my garage. And again! Wind CRASHES REALLY HARD! and I check outside, expecting rain, because it sounded almost like it, and the branches of the tree fallen off, but no rain, and I step back in my garage and finally as it was time to go. I step outside and there isnt a cloud in sight for miles. the weather was pretty much perfect. A little too windy but still was no clouds. My humble prayer was answered, and I just was so thankful we wouldnt get crashed with rain and be buymmed out.
And so I go to the brimhalls and we all gather, her mom takes us out. And we are dropped off and we had a nice time, just walking around. And checking places out, went to some crappy mirror funhouse. i payed for everyone, it wasnt really worth the price but oh well, it was kinda interesting, and we jumped up stairs and rolled down hills, and just had a good time with fellow friends. it was nice, because I didnt expect to get along with em so well. And they saw a little bit of who I was as well.
I hope to go out again sometime. The wind just blew the sands into our faces it was hilarious. And so we stayed on the road. haha, looked at taffy shops. Bought swedish fish and shared em with the girls.
So aaron saved us as I remembered I had his number. haha, it was funny being like "uh oh sorry guys" And like we rocked out to some hendrix, and he dropped us back off at the brimhalls, I went inside with her, and just visited with her family. I didn't expect to get such a warm welcome from them as they were eating dinner and I felt really warm and glad to visit. They are really good people. I'm glad I know them.
So my mom came and honked and so I left, and gave sarah a hug and left. I really enjoyed myself. And I came home and watched amadeus. Nearly cried every scene because mozart is just so significant in my life. He is a master. He was born the same day my prophet Gordon B Hinckley died. So a little extra closeness I feel to both. Two masters of my life.
Had a great time.
