weight loss take 1000+

So I am trying a new approach...or really an approach that melds some of the other work I have done this year. So what am I doing...just for me, because parts of this has worked before, and like everything else I do I need to do it my way.
I have myfitnesspal on my phone, because daily accountability for me matters. I will write down everything I eat, and it stops me all the time from "grabbing this" or grabbing that. Myfitnesspal keeps track of what I spent each day, I can scan in food for it to automatically add it, and for the most part it works. I am having fun with it. And it was free. No excuses there.
I am also drinking hot water every morning instead of my duncin donuts stop. It helps me get hydrated and keep down my calories...and I am working on the concept of changing a habit. I like the hot, and I don't notice what I am drinking while I am driving, so it works...I am finding that I crave the water hot, and it's nice. That is helping me keep my water up. It also helps my lungs a bit. I have also promised myself a coffee after each sports bottle of hot water. By the second sports bottle, I no longer want the coffee...so all is well... weird I know...but it works for me.
I have also taken artificial sweeteners out of my diet, as well as wheat. And not totally with the wheat...but some and it's been nice because I am actually not that hungry, not like before, and the food actually fills me a bit more, so cutting the calories downs seems to be easier as long as I actually use sugar and not Splenda...weird...but for me... it doesn't suck...kind of surprised. So as I write, I have made my caloric intake and not starving for food somewhere... and enough for my tea later tonight.
I need to sleep. If I don't get 7-8 hours a sleep a night it doesn't work. It's that simple. I am wasting my effort if I don't sleep... so that remains another goal for me.
I am dancing a few times a week with ballroom and Zumba and trying to get in a few long walks when possible in order to just keep my fitness moving forward... and not stress out over it. I have a mobile job as well, and to do what you can, and enjoy what I have.
Otherwise...I know it sounds like a lot of work, but much of it is happening already, I just need to keep my focus as I continue to do this.
I think I am writing to simply make me proud of what I am doing, and to let's others find their way...instead of this program or that...to see what does work for you, what makes you feel good, and successful, and piece meal it together. Or don't. Sometimes it's harder when you do, and better when you don't. Everyone is different. And that influences and matters.
