Monday was good surf. it was SECRET SURF. i have a shit load of work in school and im starting to think that im going no where in IB. Its so hard and so pointless that i dont have the will power anymore. im trying but i feel like people arn't even trying and doing better. guy. your brother here. of course none of that shit is necessary. its just taught. learn it and be done with it sir. i thought pythagoreas was a nerd. i used his theorum the other day. i had to park my car out side during the so built up hurricane. i looked everywhere around to see wether anything, if blown down would land on my car. basic yes. useful, quite. not satisfying? well to agree with you, i read this reading in english the other day, by this guy, freire. he's some frenchy, i dont know. he's got this grand idea, made up like a century ago. its called the 'banking system in education'. he said teachers are depositing information in our, the students, heads. and we don't really learn the beauty there is to learn from this teaching. they deposit it, we take a test and withdraw it on paper. if its right, its right and we never bother learning anymore from it. he asked all throughout the essay, to the reader, to stand up out of the crowd. learn what is taught to you. make it exciting to yourself. because otherwise, we're just depositing machines. main point dude, don't sit and listen, ask questions, annoy the teacher, thats what she gets paid to do. you annoy her too much, she tells you to shut up, stay after class, annoy her more. this is life chris, its handed to you, and not on a silver platter, on a broken dish. its up to you to turn that shit silver. and dude...just DO IT...DO IT.
