(no subject)
I bought a "practical katana" a couple of days ago and I daydream about using it on my foes. Ahhhhh... too bad I'm not in another era another continent, ne? The katana is part of phase II of my "Don't Let the Modern Day Emasculate You" project. Starting out with Judo and Jujitsu, this has been key in my finding more of a purpose in this waste of at least four years known as college. Hopefully in a few years I'll move to a real town and try and take some kendo!!! Nice.
Today is a good day. Friday... nice. Rainy... nice. Work's slow... nice.
Materialism is a big empty hole... beware. I've fallen into it before and I must not do it again.
I bought the first Lain disc a couple days ago and I'm going to watch it tonight. I can't wait. I've seen the first episode and it seems to be a brilliant start. Still, it's friday night, I'm practically 20, and, AGAIN, I'm staying at home by myself. Haven't done anything for an embarressingly long time... sigh. Trying to start learning Japanese again, hopefully I'll have the alphabets memorized to give me a head start when I take it next year or the year after.
Still have this pervasive feeling inside. What is it?
