Well well my friend decided to email me today concerning the fact that she and her friends were indeed going out to chinese for lunch and haha you're eating Ramen. Jerk. This was her email:
"
Just thought I'd rub it in that I'm going to eat Chinese today. Lots and lots of Chinese.

If only i could write a poem about chinese food. I would name it 'Ode to Chinese food'.
I thought that would be original. Are you on the edge of your seat yet?

Escusa, I asked the Iron Chef what the theme for today was and he said....'Ah, Kung Pao Chicken'.
"

So this was my reply:

"
yes I was thinking a poem would be good, I think I'll call this one "Why I Must Find New Friends"

Chinese food is the soul
of the hungry man's condition
Personified through sweet and sour, egg roll
asundry pieces of China's perfection

That soul is oppressed
by the work day and school day
That soul can find no rest
In eating Ramen every way

His "fair weather friends"
enjoy benefits of said cuisine
But they know his schedule has no ends
and they tease him just to be mean

They think it's originality's best
to tease a man in hunger's dark belly
Little do they know this is no new test
That's why his last friend's dead in an alley

It's not his fault, criminal insanity
strikes when his stomach has waned empty
Though "Dr. Jeckyll" practices morality
"Mr. Hyde" strikes through the Chinese want that tempts me

The moral is this- so simple, and seen so plainly
Bring me back an egg roll and another day you may see

SO THERE!!!
"
I was actually feeling kind of clever. Especially for a sucky day like today.
