on groovestats the highest score on that chart is an 86.95, so his score isn't bad at all. it's a difficult chart (and it also looks like an MJ chart, for which i have no comment).
The thing that's actually impressive, however, is his overall form. i don't know how good of a player he is overall, but even if he's not Up There in terms of the high caliber ITG double players, he's laid the foundation for getting up there because he has the fundamentals down - solid stepping but in a way that's efficient, minimalizing the energy needed. I bet he would have gotten higher if he actually got the hands - from the way he hit them, i bet they were misses.
I wish i could see the name on his memory card to know if i know the player by name. i don't recognize him.
there was a time when i was that good, but i'm not there anymore, mostly due to conditioning. i'm not the young supple guy i used to be two years ago. :)
that, and ITG double charts are much mroe stamina inducing than DDR double charts as a general rule. It took me a little under a year to be able to comfortably do Really Hard things on DDR and concentrate on performing them well as opposed to just trying to pass them without falling over. It would take me probably that long to do it again and i'd have to go back to playing 4 days a week which i just don't have the time for anymore.
you should come out to the ITG nationals in the middle of january in Vegas. :)

Thanks for the info, but 1. I dont fly 2. January is School time and 3. If im coming to vegas, im playing some cards, not watching some kids play ITG or whatever that stands for. But i was just browsing consumption last night, and watch this kid, and i thought it was pretty amazing. Hope things are well out there man. We need to somehow get together on Poker room sometime. I am burb316 on there as well. But i probably play when you dont cause of the time difference. But oh well. Talk with you Burb

what time do you usually play on pokerroom?
these days all i play is omaha. i've found that it's much harder to get bad beated by chasers, and there are also much more fish.
don't get me wrong - i'm going to vegas to play cards too, but the tournament is going to be a lot of fun. most of the people who are going to be playing will actually be from 16-25 years old (or in my case, 30), so it's not all punk kids. where it's at is in the final rounds where all of the really hard songs get played. I might do some videos. DDR/ITG videos are popular.

i'm darknote, but i don't get on there until after you get off, it seems. if i get on right after work it isn't until 2030 your time, and usually i'm not on until later, like around 2300 or so your time.
maybe one of these days we'll coordinate. still... i'd rather play an omaha sng with you than a hold 'em one. :)
