The New Year
So last year everyone had all these posts about their year like summarized, and no one did that this year so i thought i'd get the ball rolling. This was the most amazing year of my life. Started on a sad note with the end of a relationship, till i realized a few days later that that actually wasn't very sad at all. Went away with Samantha for my birthday to florida and relaxed and was happy, and we decided that vacationing together was the only way, since we were not fighting with significant others. Had a really great girls-only party here in princeton. In the beginning of February i joined Quad, an eating club here at school, and began to party again. Suddenly i realized being single was the best thing that could ever happen to me. Started hanging out with Kai again also, which was great for me, as he's been one of the most amazing friends this year. Spring break with my girls was just awesome, and i came back to finish up a pretty awesome semester. Wasn't ready for the MCAT in april thoguh, so i waited for the august one. Left school and started the marlboro job for a few weeks in the end of may before leaving for france. Then i spent the most amazing summer in france digging up neanderthals and getting to know some really cool princeton students. Not only did i re-learn french, take a great course, and eat some great food, but i also made friends i'll keep for a very long time. Got back and took (rocked) the MCAT, then partied like it was my job (which of course it is-- i'm in college). I was sooooo excited to get back to school this year to my huge dorm room and hang out with my wonderful roommates. Started doing thesis research, wich is fucking awesome. took some great classes, medical anthro, forensic anthro, and african american studies with cornel west as my professor. My forensics professor is the coolest woman i've ever met and i've really enjoyed working with her. Monica Courtney and i had a really cool halloween party and then i went down to florida to hang out with my grandma because she had been sick. Finished out the semester and partied quite a bit then went back down to florida for christmas and then partied in the city for new years. the end :-)
