You're being stereotypical and grouping various breeds of vampires together.

Some of them turn by biting, some of them don't. Some of them are like mindless creatures, others are capable of societies amongst themselves.

Unless you're talking about a particular set then you won't get a concrete answer.

I don't know anything about vampires, you cuntchip!

How can you tell which kind of vampire bit you?

Clearly, if you're going to insult me then you can find out for yourself.

Mark off how many stereotypes it appears to follow. Weakness to crosses, holy water, sunlight. Transformation through biting. Alternative sleeping patterns.

...Granted, if you were transformed by the appropriately linked method, it would be instantaneous.

Go fuck yourself.

What if I didn't even know she was a vampire before she bit...my friend?!

There might be a delayed response!

In short, you got bitten and now you're concerned. Every species that i've come across has an instantaneous response.

You seem pretty human to me.

Haven't you ever read Twilight? THEY seem human.

Read what? I said that the change was instantaneous, you would notice being changed. It's normally a painful process.

Painful? As if being BITTEN wasn't painful enough?

From the types that I know, the body structure changes to an extent. So, yes, an awful lot more painful.

Why are you such an expect on vampires? How do I know you're not fucking lying to me?

Reply

Simple answer, i've lived with a lot of them for a long time. Why would I lie about something which, depending on the breed, could pose a threat?

Have you ever met a dog-vampire?

A dog vampire? You either have a rather large imagination or have met a very advanced breed.

SEE?! I didn't think so.

Vampiritis can't go through species, can it?

It's not a disease, some vampires are born as vampires.

...As far as I know though, it's strictly a turning process for humans.

What about a country? Could a country turn into a vampire?
