Visit with Phaser
I went up to Petsmart today to get a tall dog dish and the Dummies Guide to Retired Racing Greyhounds. Petsmart didn't have either of the things that I wanted. Phaser's fosert Mom popped in for a minute and then she left and they told me to wait. Mary Ann brought Phaser up to visit me!!! It was so nice to see him again and he was just as lovey and good.
Phaser met a cat yesterday, sniffed the cat and then ignored it. YAY! He also pooped while on a leash. He also can get in and out of a car or van by himself. Phaser had a top kennel, so you just have to say "Kennel Up" and he leaps right in. He is doing great at passing his go-home tests. I got to weigh him at Petsmart, he weighst 78lbs. He's a big boy!
He will be brought home Wednesday, March 28 if he continues to be a good boy.
I also found the most amazing deal... Instead of dog beds, I found two twin bed pillow tops (5 inches thick) for $20 bucks each. I folded them in half, covered them with a comforter, tucked the comforter under it and I have two, 10-12in thick, huge dog beds. SWEET!
The GPA is so great! How sweet of them to bring him up just for me to have a visit with him. Also, they gave me a clip on treat holder and loaned me a copy of the book that I couldn't find. These people are great and the dogs are so wonderful. I can hardly wait for my sweet Phaser to come home...
