Title: Married For A Purpose
Rating: PG-13
Length: Chaptered
Pairing; KyuMin
Genre: Romance(?), IDK
Summary: A reunion, a kiss and a breakup leads to a 'pretend' marriage between Sungmin and Kyuhyun. Now trying to get Kyuhyun's ex jealous, problems surface when Sungmin falls for Kyuhyun and Seohyun actually wants Kyuhyun back.

“Maybe so, but there ain’t nothing to it.” He reasoned and pulled the girl towards him and kissing her, like the first time, generating claps and catcalls from the crowd.

And so just like that the two were officially married and, like every officially married couple, they were waiting at the airport for the plane that would take them to their honeymoon destination. The only difference was, instead of supportive family members to send them of with hugs and kisses, they had fans that were screaming their hearts out and throwing support banners.

“It’s a relief you’re not popular in Japan.” Sungmin said while they were waiting in the departure hall finally safe from the craziness outside.

“I’ll take that as a compliment.” Kyuhyun replied and they started laughing until an announcement was made for them to board the plane.

~

“Wake up we’re going to land!” Kyuhyun practically shouted into Sungmin’s ear after many unsuccessful attempts of waking her up, jolting her out of her sleep.

“What?” She asked sleepily. “Oh ok wake me when we get there.”

Kyuhyun sighed. He had forgotten how Sungmin always sleeps like a log. It was almost impossible to wake up and when she does wake up, she becomes a whole other person. In fact the only time she wakes up with no problem, is when she’s had too much to drink the night before.

Sungmin snores when she sleeps, very faintly but still audible if you’re close enough, close as in sitting on an airplane with her head on your shoulder kind of close. ‘I’m surprised this person was even born a girl.’ Kyuhyun thinks for the umpteenth time in his not so short 20 years of life.

Just as he was about to turn his attention back to the window, he spots something white and fluffy tangled in her hair. He reaches over to take it out.

“Omo! What a cute couple!” An air stewardess exclaims as she walks past causing Kyuhyun to retract his hand and blush. “So would you like a coffee, tea or maybe some alcohol to get tipsy?” She asked with a wink.

“Just coffee please.” Kyuhyun answered quickly hoping she’d go away soon.

“One coffee for you,” She handed him the cup, “Now please go on with that.” She smiled and walked off pushing her trolley with her. Kyuhyun spent the next half an hour staring out the window with red cheeks.

Finally the plane landed and unfortunately that meant he had to wake Sungmin up. “Sungmin-ah.” He called her, but got no response.

“Sungmin-ah.” He poked her but still didn’t get any response.

“Sungmin-ah!” He shook her and was answered with a slap.

“The hell do you want commoner.” Sungmin snapped.

Kyuhyun sighed. “I’m sorry Your Majesty.” He bowed ninety degrees. Remember that whole other person Sungmin becomes? She turns into some spoilt princess when she wakes and it usually lasts for about thirty minutes, or unless she eats something sweet.

“Make sure it never happens again. Now get my stuff and get out of here, this place is too cheap for me.” Princess Sungmin exclaimed and strutted out of the airplane. Kyuhyun hesitantly took both their stuff out and hobbled off the airplane.

“Hurry up Sebastian. Turtles move faster than you.” Princess Sungmin says fanning herself with a piece of paper. Kyuhyun, who becomes Sebastian when Sungmin is in Princess Mode, merely nods as he continues to pull all their luggages.

“Take me to out mean of transportation.” Sungmin demanded and Kyuhyun had no choice but to oblige. They got on a cab and travelled to a hotel. Once again Kyuhyun had to unload all the things by himself and try to explain what he wanted in broken Japanese to the receptionist. ‘Damn if only Sungmin was well, Sungmin!’

He somehow managed to tell her what he wanted and got the key card to a room, luckily there was a bell boy to move all their luggages, or he would probably have died.

“Sebastian, get me some bitter coffee.” Sungmin demanded sitting herself on the couch. Another thing about Princess Sungmin is that she loves bitter stuff which is the opposite of normal Sungmin.

Kyuhyun nodded, again and went to make some bitter coffee. He returned shortly after with the coffee in hand. “Kyu? Why are you giving me coffee? Wait, where are we? How did we get here?” Sungmin asked returning to her usual self.

“It doesn’t really matter, does it? Anyway, we’re going to some garden today, we need to take pictures and update our blogs about our married life and stuff like that.” Sungmin shrugged and left to change into a fresh set of clothes.

~

“Ok this is it.” Kyuhyun announced when they arrived at the garden.

“Doesn’t look like much to me…” Sungmin sighed but still went in anyway. They went on with their mission to take as many photos as possible; after all they could always be photo shopped.

“Excuse me, would you like to take part in our annual flower race?” A voice interrupted their photo taking session. “Every year a race is held here in this garden. The grand prize is an all you can eat sushi buffet at XXX restaurant. Couples must race against each other to get out of the labyrinth as soon as possible. It is believed that married couples who complete this will be together for a long time and couples will have a good chance of marriage.”

Kyuhyun and Sungmin didn’t hear anything after ‘The grand prize is an all you can eat sushi buffet at XXX restaurant.’ And that line was the only reason they decided to participate in the race.

“On your marks, get set, go!” And the couples were off. Kyuhyun and Sungmin ran around for a while, but kept running into dead ends.

After a while they ran into another dead end, except that there was a bleeding puppy lying on the grass. “Kyu, look. Oh the poor thing.” Sungmin scooped up the injured puppy careful not to touch its injured paw. “What should we do?”

“We need to get that guy to a vet.” Kyuhyun stated.

“But we can’t really move while carrying it.” Sungmin defended.

“Then we’ll just have to stop the bleeding first.” They both looked around for anything they could use to wrap the poor thing’s paw with.

“Ah screw it.” Sungmin said ripping off a piece of her skirt and bandaging the puppy’s paw. The puppy whimpered and struggled but Sungmin finally got the cloth on it. The got up and ran for a while more before coming to another dead end.

“You thinking what I’m thinking?”

“Only if we’re thinking the same thing.”

The looked at each other and smiled before running straight through the labyrinth. “That’s cheating!” Some people screamed.

“Just disqualify us but this guy needs treatment.” Sungmin screamed in fluent Japanese. The owner of the garden came over to see what the commotion was about and he saw his own dog, bleeding.

The puppy, named Chocolat, was sent to a nearby vet and the race was won by some married couple in their sixties. “Oh well. Let’s go back to the hotel the sun’s setting.”

After another tedious morning the two of them were out again. This time they were going to the theme park to take photos.

“This is going to be fun; I haven’t been to a theme park in years.” Sungmin exclaimed excitedly. On the other hand, Kyuhyun was persuading Sungmin to just take the minor rids and leave.

“Come on Min, just one or two and then we-“He was cut off by Sungmin dragging him, literally, to the tallest ride. “Min… come on please. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.”

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”
“WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!”
Kyuhyun and Sungmin’s scream could be heard throughout the theme park.

“Wasn’t that fun?” Sungmin asked, skipping along the pavement. Kyuhyun was as pale as a ghost as he lifted one shaky finger to point at the ride. “H-How s-s-s-so?”

Sungmin frowned. “You don’t like the roller coaster? Then let’s go to the haunted house!”

“NO!”

“Come on, it’s just white sheets and red paint.”

~

“White sheets and red paint my ass.”

“Looks like they had an upgrade. But anyway let’s take this as a great opportunity to get rid of your fear!”

Just like that they spent the entire day rotating between the roller coaster, haunted house and any other ride Kyuhyun was scared of until he could no longer feel anything.

“My work here is done.” Sungmin said proudly while eating a bit of her cotton candy.

“Just let me go back.”

The next few days of the honeymoon was spent in stupidity and before they knew it, it was time to fly back to Korea.

“Awww, I was having a lot of fun…”

“You were having a lot of fun, not me.”

“Details, details.”

All passengers boarding the 3:45 pm flights to Seoul, Korea please proceed to the departure hall.

A/N: Well this chapter was totally uneventful. It was all about the honeymoon but the action should be coming soon… comments are still appreciated despite the many obvious mistakes.
