My five year old's first soccer game of the season: one kid actually
moving the ball (sometimes even toward the correct goal) while several
others run immediately behind, convinced they're helping. Others stand
perfectly still or wander off to look at something unrelated. Meanwhile
many people are simultaneously yelling instructions from the sidelines.
Oh, and they don't keep score so it's all practically moot.
Suddenly it struck me that I was watching the UN.
Remember when the US used to be the kid with the ball?
