My step mom is a terrorist.
On Saturday, my step mom was detained at an airport in Detroit. Her offense? Attempting to smuggle explosives onto an airplane. They took her in the back room, and fully searched her, and all kinds of crazy shit. And the reason for all this....she was bringing little plastic cap guns home for my brothers. Apparently, there's a tiny amount of gun powder in cap guns...and apparently, it's not a good idea to take them on a plane! When she asked them if she was going to need a lawyer, the lady said, "I don't know....DO YOU?" She called me from the toy store when she got back, because she was trying to buy my little brothers new toys and say that she got them in Michigan. She figured that would be better than having them ask where their presents were, and having to tell them that THE GOVERNMENT TOOK THEM AWAY! Hahaha, I seriously can't believe that actually happened.
Another thing I can't believe, is that she called me to ask me to go to NYC with her on the 1st, just for the day to shop and eat and whatnot. She's going to pay for everything. I like when my step mom doesn't talk to me for a zillion years, and then decides to be awesome.
