Ninja turtles and valentines day go hand in hand.
Today was a pretty okay day. I bought $107 worth of books with birthday money. Go Barnes & Noble! I think people appreciated the valentines that I gave them, even if they were a little late, and even if some of them (THE HORROR!) didn't know anything about the ninja turtles, and thus, didn't appreciate the choices I made in picking a corresponding ninja turtle, to person.
I've always loved valentines day, since I was a little kid...because when you're a little kid, you go to school, get valentines from most, if not all of your classmates, eat heart shaped cookies, and cupcakes with pink frosting and sprinkles and those disgusting chalky candy hearts, and basically have a super awesome time. When people grow up, valentines day just becomes depressing and the cause of a lot of bitterness....I don't think it should be that way. I say, pink frosting cupcakes for all. I remember this one kid that I really hated, and the best thing ever was on valentines day, and I gave everyone a valentine except for him. HaHa, I showed him!....I happen to be a lot nicer now. I even gave Will a valentine! Of course...I gave him the Shredder, but, not being a ninja turtle fan himself, I don't think he knew what I was trying to say.
I'm going to be 22 tomorrow. Evidence suggests otherwise.
