Jet ski, Stuck tyre, Fish scare, Oysters n mussels, Grocerries n Dinner!~~~
Fun n excitement filled day today!!~~~
Came home with several bruises, a tiny bit sore body (i love it when my body is sore from a good workout XD), several really sandy and dirty clothes, but lotsa good memories, and several new friends.
Went over to Dan Tart's house at 12 30something A.M. yesterday when he picked me up from dorm. Once i got there, all i did was sleep because we had to get up b4 8 15 to get ready to head of to Sorrento's!!~ to jet ski ^^ (yes, Sorrento. melb has one too!!~ XD). as usual , we dont head out on time. but we were pretty good! got saussage n egg muffin for breakie in drive through, and Jesmine forgot the snorkeling gear, so went back to get it and off we go!!~~~ cos of lack of time (got the jetskis booked at 9 i think), we had to take the freeway instead of going along the coast. but either ways, once we got there, i got a tiny bit nervous about the whole thing XD
Instead of going to the right side of the beach where the jetskis were, we initially went to the left side of the beach, walking further n further away, seeing lotsa ppl learning how to surf, n ppl soaking in the sea water, and yet no jetskis. Calvin (Dan tart's youngest bro) called up the guy n found out we went the wrong way, and we had to walk back to the OTHER side of the beach. Great workout i tell u. it's pretty tiring to walk on the sand T_T walk fast too. incase we were too late.
Put on our livejackets, got our 2 skis, I'm paired up with Dan Tart and Jesmine with Calvin, we went off to the sea!!! XD on our jetskis!!~ Dan tart told me to drive 1st... and OMG i was so so so sked T_T "wth?! i cant even drive a car properly and i'm driving something IN THE SEA!!" i was telling him that but he said it's easy and i'll be able to handle it.
RIGHT.
Because we didnt know each other that well, he being the back passenger, did not hug me from the back, which would prolly save himself all the heart attacks and almost flying off the jetski when we hit waves and save himself having to cling onto the handle at the back of the seats for his life and kept saying its really difficult to sit at the back... very nice of him to not tell me my driving was bad XD
but then again. it wasnt toooo bad... i think...maybe it was super bad when i go around corners cos i always almost flip the whole boat!!! T_T
and few times initially when i trying to get used to the thing when i accidently pulled the accelerator a lil too hard... that's when he actually got scared... omggg i feel so bad for him T_T
15 mins the engine turns off itself, and we have to drive back to the shore where we get to switch drivers... his turn...
Since i'm smaller in size... i actually really did almost fall off TT__TT
i've never been so scared in awhile. More scared than when i watch horror movies TT________TT. not that his driving was bad. i could tell he was trying to be careful. I held onto the bars at the back and gripped as hard as i could while using my legs to clamp the seats as tight as i could as well. Still, i almost flew off. legs flying and butt lifted off the seat when we hit the waves again when he speeded... TT____TT
thats when i shouted to him " do u think it's better if i hug u?!?!?!" " i think so actually!~" "so can i hug u then?" "sure"
and OMGGG
I CALMED DOWN SO SO SOOO MUCH COOOSSS
ITS SOOO MUCH EASIER!!!~~~ T_T i gripped tightly on his livejacket and when he sped and hit the waves it was actually ok!!~~ both jumped with the jetski but no risks of falling off!!~ at least when we were jumping in the jetski i was thinking "at least if i get thrown into the sea, i'm not alone!!~" its much scarier if the back person flies off~~!!!
ok, i admit. i'm a tiny bit deep sea phobic... T_T i get super scared when im further away from the shore T_T i hate it cos i dunno wat's underneath and what will happen T_T thinking about it is making me shiver TT___________TT
anyways, jet skiing got us pretty tired... when we got onto the shore, jesmine was all smiles and taking lotsa photos (YAY!! PHOTOS!~) and got one of us looking quite serious when we were driving to shore XD cos there were ppl kayaking, din wanna hit anyone hahaha XD
Full of energy, Jesmine said "LETS GO SNORKELING!~" TT_________TT i dun really like snorkeling cos as i said... i'm afraid of wat's underneath T_T but anyways. since she wanted to snorkel, Dan tart drove to another beach further down and went to park the car. I'll just make the story short since i'm like writing a book or something T_T so long.
Dantart accidently drove a lil too forward and got ourselves in a big mess!~ the right front wheel is deeply burried in the sand... T_T couldnt drive out at all.. and the more we tried the deeper we got!! took photos too :P well luckily, found a few wooden planks n stuff, and with the help of a friendly passerby and his son, they found a fence-length wooden plank, jesmine drove the car forwards on the plank to a harder ground, the men put the plank over the hole, and she drove quickly over it and back on safe grounds >< phew... or we would've called RACWA (RACV in Vic XD) and could've cost us a bomb.
The guys got all dirty and we went to the sea to wash ourselvs XD tried snorkeling but the beach was FULL OF SEAWEED!~ omg omg omg omg >< >< eew ew ew ew >< cos i'm the only one w/o flippers, i had to walk on them and it felt so gross! i saw two really cute chubby fishes :3~ and drank lotsa sea water when a big wave came and goggles got water, breathed in sea water and drank it through the tube too
EW. T_T no salt intake for a week for me. i was swimming in a 1m deep part of the sea cos i did not want to step on seaweed while gripping onto dantart once inawhile and jesmine T_T i'm such a noobie XD :P since there were no flippers, i decided to just go swim with dan tart and the rest go further to snorkle. went to a sandy part and we just soaked there tlking n watching the pair snorkel.
Suddenly, we saw the two swimming for their lives quickly to shore.
me:"huh? wat's going on? did they see a shark or jellie fish?"
tart:"dunno. racing, maybe?"
and we went on shore to meet them. they looked terrified. hahaha
Jesmine's part of the story: saw a rock like thing but soft n weird and did not bother it and then just continued swimming. she felt that she hit something with her flippers and when she looked back, Calvin was shouting "GO! SWIM!! HUGE FISH!~~" n he frantically swam. Dunno what's going on and super worried, she followed.
Calvin: saw a rock like thing but was moving. and was like "huh? this is weird. why does rocks move?" and then went for a closer look. suddenly the fish looked up at him and swam closer!! His goggles we blurry, but what he could see was the fish's head was bigger than his!~ freaked, he told his sister to leave immediately and they were very shocked.
haha that was our topic of the day XD at dinner, Calvin said he looked it up and think its a sting ray. quite a big one too... lol but cos when they were in sea, he didnt know what the hell the thing was, that's why he panicked and swam away XD hahaha he's so cute XD
Lunch was at fermantle again. a diff fish n chip place. Jesmine got a seafood platter. and dan tart made me eat an oyster.. OMGGG T_T i almost puked on that one. i HATE OYSTERS OFFICIALLY!~~ tastes like... rotten food T_T. rather mussels... and i had to eat one mussel, and then had to have another cos i rather eat that than squids T_T omg... poor me TT_______TT i think i'm laying off seafood for awhile...
But i love that place. Live band playing. well ... it was an old couple singing old songs XD like country-like singing XD so funky and dancy XD i love the atmosphere. with the sun and the sea, and music and lotsa ppl ^^ mmmmm n good fish n chips. but terrible oysters :P (i'm sorry,ck)
After that, we headed home, dropped by chinese grocery store, SUPER EXPENSIVE AND DOES NOT HAVE MIRIN!!~ omg wat kinda lousy shop was that T_T and din have TAU CI!~~~ HOW CAN U NOT COOK WITH THAT?! T_T and no miso too... and on top of all that, its expensive.. sigh... perth's living expenses is actually more expensive than melb! CAN U GUYS BELIEVE IT?!
had a super long 4 hour nap back in dan tart's house after a nice shower. had dinner at this 'Saigon' place at Northbridge - Perth's 'china town' that's full of western meals :S. weirder thing is... so many locals eating there. unlike melb where u see 80 % asians. melb is turning into another asia.or is australia considered asia?? :P iono XD
Btw, food in melb is MUCH better. my beef was super chewy, and thick, and beefballs tasted like porkballs, and 'fresh coconut' tastes super sweet, like those packet coconut juices and the attitude was nasty. pft. ><
now the family is asking me to learn scuba diving with them. cos then we can go scuba diving everyweekend or something. keep fit, and loose few kilos XD haha... well... i would really love to but it clashes with when ck visits me in easter... SIGGGHHHH wat to do?!~
plus its 600bucks... TT_______TT
