lol a very interesting thing i found whilst accompanying my grandpa through Jusco supermarket at Ipoh. LOL Its kinda gross actually... buying my cereals with a nose, thumb, inflatable brain, eye, teeth and something else with it.... D: But it'd definitely be cool serving a bowl of cereals and scaring kids with it :D
I just came back from a 2 day 1 night stay at Ipoh, feeding mosquitos with my blood and watering the plants with my sweat :D (i think i can write a good poem soon since i've got so many metaphors).
I love Ipoh though you do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but eating there.
Grandparents are the coolest. I feel so loved there :3. My grandparents didn't know I'm back from aussie yet. and once they saw me, i saw Popo's face lit up n she was so excited and went "MEIMEI!!! LEI FAN LEI LAAHHHH" (translation: your'e back!!~~~) Popo was on her way to buy Toto and 4-d (those lucky number thingys) like she always do when we go back to visit her. So she got into the car and we drove her just across the road and I accompanied her whilst she wrote down the numbers and bought the things :3
Grandma is 80++ old and Grandpa is 90++ old. Both quite deaf and walk quite slow but the cutest sweetest grandparents ever :D Grandma loves feeding me junk. She has lotsa biscuits and titbits on the table in the living room cos she loves eating while she's bored. Although the types of titbits changes as my mum finds new stuffs to bring home, there's always two things that will ALWAYS remain the same. 1 Tin of jacobs-type biscuits and another horlick jar full of those biscuits with currents in it. Although I've been eating them for prolly 20 years of my life, my grandma still says "try this! its nice!" lol though i've had it every single time i visited her :3
O, forgot to say wat grandpa's reaction was when he saw me. haha well... kinda similar, except he was slightly slow to react. i think he thought i was mom for a sec, then he went! "EIII!!! HAHA MEI MEIIIII DOOK YUN FAN LEI LAAAH" ("Ei!! ---!! Finished studying and came back d?!!!!") n then non stop smiling for dunno how long. Like this : D
Grandma kept sayanging me (not my head of cos ><) and kept talking to me though she can't really hear and grandpa kept smiling at me whilst talking to my mom :P looooveeedddd <3 Well then we went out to have lunch!~ As usual i know my grandma would order stacks since i'm home so this time since i'm not too hungry i didnt order anything for myself and just helped her eat her roti cannai, har mee and... oh wait. i did order something. Ai-yu jellie :D with shaved ice n lemon juice ontop. mmMMMmm :D oh! and then rojak :3 wahahahahha though its super unhealthy and grandpa totally disapproves it, he lets me eat it cos i havent been home for awhile :3 looooveee <3
then... i spent the rest of the day watching local channels and reading my book (MY AWESOME BOOK) and everyone else sat around living room relaxing and reading books as well. This is what we usually do in Ipoh. RELAX AND EAT :3
oh. grandpa cooked yummie dinner but kept complaining that I dont eat much... though i finished MOST OF THE THINGS ON THE TABLE... grrr mom abandoned me. she left the table 1st, saying she's full already and then cos she left my grandparents made me stay at the table till i fill another bowl of rice and finished everything -_-' T_T mom just went hee hee and laid lazyly on her fav couch n munching on cashews.... grrrr *bites mom* :p waited till bout... 8 30 and we watched steven chow's old movie. lol so cool. havent watched good old movies lately and it was a good show. then uncle (did i forget to say he's there too?) continued watching tv whilst i went to shower and to bed (to finish reading my awesome book!! KI! I DID NOT CRY! :3 proud) .
Morning 8 30 am my mom shouted from kitchen to wake me up -_______________-'''''' to EAT DIM SUM. WTH!!! SO EARLY!!! T_T but omg, ipoh-ians are more early!!! went to that place which sells the best black sesame desert and its already PACKED WITH PEOPLEEEE. so packed that we had to share a big table with another family of 5 ppl (we have 5 ppl ourselves) haha. omg!!! the siew mai is so so so soooo small there! Oh!~ lemme pop a pic here :3
HOW SMALL IS THAT?!?!?!?! poked my chopstick through it and it almost couldnt fit my other stick :P hehehe
either ways, breakie was yummieeeee. :3
ahhhh gotta go out for dinner now.
