Why I hate retail and flex schedules

Because apparently, the people who make the schedules believe that you have absolutely nothing to do when you get home after your shift ends at 10 p.m. and apparently you have the amazing ability to need no preperation or travel time in the morning when you're scheduled, after getting off at 10 p.m., to be back to work at 8 a.m

I get that all the time too. :| And then I'm s'posed to be able to be bright and chipper and get all the animal cages nice and clean as fast as usual, at 7am.
