Grumble
Is Mercury in retrograde??? Because everyone in the office is being really tentative around me. Ahem, correction: All the men are being really tentative around me. Then again, I've noticed that I've been acting like a jerk and getting really impatient and pissed of very easily. Usually these feelings are targeted at my office computer which is an m-er f-ing EMAC. Yes, I'll say it again, an E - MAC! (I have both a PC and MacBook Pro, so I don't wanna hear the whole PC vs Mac argument because I really don't care!) It's like a Mac from the early 90's, waaaay before any of the "i" crap! Can you imagine how slow a PC from the 90's would be working in 2008??? Now, being that I own both types of computers, I have to admit that the speed of the Mac is faster and more consistent than the PC over time. So considering the age of my office computer, the eMac is holding up quite nicely. BUT IT TAKES FRICKIN' FOREVER!!!! Especially since I work at a graphic design/retouching company, my computer doesn't deal with images very quickly.
Anyhoo, tangents aside, we'll bring the topic back to me acting like a jerk ... (because of course, the world is about me... ) I am on my period. That doesn't excuse my behavior, per se, but I think it does explain it. But I personally think that other people are grumpy too! Like, it's not just me who's feeling crabby all this week! Has anyone else noticed this? Or is this all due to me being on my menstrual cycle?
