Went to the Woodword Dream Cruise and saw 5 miles of classic cars for 4 hours, ridiculously entertaining for being basically a huge traffic jam. Sat in the back seat with a good book and looked up for the highlights. Good times were had by all.
Since God has everything under control, I decided to trust him and in the mean time try and not think about life unless I'm praying about it. My oh my things are a mess sometimes, huh? If I thought about it (which, of course, I don't... everyone knows I'm not a worrier.. heh, heh... heh?) I'd get scared to death of going back to school in only a little over a month. I hope it's not while I'm living in the back of my car! (Kicking myself for dreaming of living in a vehicle someday! Be careful what you wish for be careful what you wish for! Why didn't I listen to those stories when I was a kid!!)
Elliot and I had an interseting, let's say debate because argument sounds so negative, about Love. I argued it doesn't exist. Elliot of course argued that it does. The funny thing is, I think we're both right. I wish I could be on his side, but I think that I can't. I'm starting to believe that Love (with a capital L, meaning loooooove) is a fabrication of our imagination. But if we believe in it, it's true. Or just as good as true. Think Santa, or the Easter Bunny. Times 1,000,000.
I think I have a lot of things to work out. Silly Kate and her ridiculous notions. I have a feeling I'm turning into that girl who sits around in corners and stares at people, eventually I'll start talking to myself and sometimes, people will take pity on me, and bring me food and water, because I'll be too busy, developing a twitch, "It's all in your head, it's all in your head!"
PS-- good movie= Garden State. Watch it a million times. And when you see that girl with "Tickle", I would just like to say I have the same thing, only it's a bear named "Regular". Does anybody know what I'm talking about! And, if nothing else it must be seen for it's astounding soundtrack. Highlight: mention of The Shins, and an Iron and Wine cover of the Postal Service's "Such Great Heights".
If I didn't have at least one rant like this in my livejournal history, someone might suspect I wasn't a true lj nerd. So here it is, my livejournaling hommage to all the e-angst ridden LJers out there. Now I fit in. It will make me popular!
