Nothing new except in the past couple weeks I have finished 4 books with like 10 pages left of mere Christianity.
Finished (in this order):
Atlast Shrugged
On the Road
The Story of B
The Bell Jar
Hooray. Do not read The Bell Jar if you can't handle having death in your head for a day. Luckily that's all it took to read it.
Do not read Atlas Shrugged if you can't handle getting inside a fascist's head. In a really well-written manner.
Do not read On the Road unless you like adventure. Actually, if you don't like adventure then you're stupid. Read it to get smarter.
Do not read The Story of B unless you have the patience to listen to some pretty dogmatic 'fiction'. But Daniel Quinn has a lot figured out and it is important stuff to hear.
I'm treckin my way back to Seattle today or tomorrow. It's kinda like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. There's always a dark side. But so much caaaandy.
And in 2 weeks I'm treckin my way to Michigan. Amish village, here I come! And coffee houses and flatness and ponyridin and fun time with Elliott aka Nate. It will always be Elliott to me.
And running through my head, in the way only Tiger Saw could have sung it, I hear "My milkshake is better than yours of course it tastes better than yours"... Monkey- is there a way to get a copy of that show? Cos it was rad. Certain people who left early missed out. (And informed me that they told a certain person with a K and a YLE to say bye to me, which he apparently promptly forgot)
