summer grumblings.

Summer school started this Monday, but I’m still in summer mode. Most of the things my professors say are going in one ear and out the other. My Econ professor is still as sarcastic as ever. At least I’m still awake in econ, unlike Geology.

Ok I’ll talk about Geology first. The first class was really boring. He showed us this 15 minute video that almost put me to sleep. I swear, the next time I have trouble sleeping, I will go online and look for that video. And AFTER he showed us the incredibly boring movie that put my brain into hibernation, he started reviewing this Chemistry stuff. WTF!!!! I chose to take Geology precisely because I wanted to avoid Chemistry. It’s been more than one year since I’ve taken it and I’ve forgotten EVERYTHING. By EVERYTHING I mean EVERTHING. I forgot what Cations and Anions were. What covalent bonds are. I even managed to forget how much protons, neutrons and electrons weigh -_-. In my defense, when he pointed stuff out on the periodic table, I remembered what some of the diatomics were. Too bad we aren’t expected to know that. Did I mention how terrible terms in Geology are? The words are like 7127593827 letters long, and practically impossible to pronounce. My entire table had trouble saying the word silicic. I know that word looks benign enough cause it’s short, but trust me. Try saying silicic 10 times. Chemistry might have been the lesser evil.

Now for my Econ class. It’s uber crowded. There’s like 50 people in the classroom, and no AC. Apparently, it’s going to be fixed in early July. I’m sure our class will bond by sweating together. We had some group work today. I liked my group last semester more.
Now for the random stuff that happened this week. I think my feet shrunk, especially my right one. I usually wear an 8.5, but the size 8 wedges that I bought are too big now. There’s a space of 1 cm from the end of my foot to the shoe on my right shoe. I even bought one of those sticky foam thingys and stuck it to the back of my shoes. They’re still too big. Good thing I only had one class so I didn’t have to walk around all day with shoes that slide off my feet. Oh forgot to mention that my Geology book was FREAKING EXPENSIVE. Why does the bookstore sell it for 94 dollars (tax included), when Amazon sells it for 20 dollars?

I have some memes to post too, but I’ll do that later XD.
